Shipping policy

At TENON, we take pride in crafting custom, high-quality carpentry pieces made to last. To ensure your order arrives safely and on time, please review the following shipping information.

1. Order Processing Time

  • All pieces are handcrafted to order. Standard processing time is 7 to 21 business days depending on the size and complexity of your item. 
  • Processing begins once full payment and custom specifications are confirmed.

2. Shipping Options & Delivery Estimates

  • We ship by boat from GDH Thinadhoo to Male' & Hulhumale: 15–21 business days
  • Boat charges set by the boat to be informed upon loading to boat
  • Rush production + Express Shipping: For urgent orders, we offer prioritised production (2–5 business days) paired with express delivery. Please contact us before ordering to confirm availability.

Note: Expedited options apply after production is complete. For rush production, additional fees may apply.

3. Shipping Rates

  • Shipping rates are calculated by the boat based on the item’s size, weight.
  • Most boats calculate the shipping rate of the item upon sight. 

4. Shipping Locations

  • We ship from Thinadhoo to Male' and Hulhumale and do interboat transfers in Male'. Contact us if you need finer details on shipping to your island.

6. Packaging

  • Every order is carefully packaged to prevent damage in transit.
  • Large or fragile items may be crated and cushioned for added protection.

7. Damaged or Lost Packages

  • If your item arrives damaged, notify us within 48 hours with photos of the item and packaging.
  • We’ll work quickly to make it right.

8. Local Delivery & Pickup

  • Customers near Male' can choose local delivery or free pickup by contacting us at the below number.
